Stadium History
FC Barcelona has called several stadiums home, each reflecting a different era in the club’s evolution and in the broader cultural and political landscape of Catalonia. From its humble beginnings on modest pitches to the grand stages that now welcome millions of fans worldwide, the stadiums Barça has played in are more than just sporting venues—they are iconic symbols of identity, resilience, and progress
Economic instability and urban expansion resulted in a lack of initial permanent football grounds for the team, however, the following four locations are believed to be the initial football grounds in the early 1900s:
1899-1900
1900-1901
1901-1905
1905-1909
1909-1922
1922

Introducing Spotify Camp Nou
Coming Soon
FC Barcelona is currently in the process of moving to a new stadium, which is expected to be completed before the 2025/2026 season. Due to financial struggles, the club has been unable to make major signings, partly because they have been playing in a smaller temporary stadium with reduced matchday revenue. As part of their financial recovery strategy, Barcelona sold the naming rights to their iconic Camp Nou, which will now be called Spotify Camp Nou upon reopening.
